2-1-2012 The Weekly Claw

Ahhhhhh. We are back to our normal posting day in the middle of the week. Since I just posted on Sunday, this column will have an abundance of articles about Ron Paul that I was saving for another special “Paul is an Idiot” column.

A) We’ll start off with something that hacks me off, and the anti-Constitutional explanation by liberal Romney-Republicans. The Florida legislature, lead by some of Romney’s minions, have drawn up their new redistricting map, and in doing so have purposely made it much harder for REAL conservative Allen West to retain his seat. The new district will now include far more registered Democrats than Republicans. Why would they do such a thing to a rising star of the party? Simple. West is a conservative and a favorite of the Tea Party. He is also a true leader. In other words, he is everything Mittens Romney is not. The RINOs explain that they had to draw the maps that way because of the Voting Rights Act, which is applied to the southern states that had a big history of discrimination and Jim Crow laws. Since this act does not apply equally to ALL states, it is by definition unConstitutional.

B) Can you believe that any Presidential candidate would say these words? “Why don’t they quit once the so-called harassment starts? Obviously the morals of the harasser cannot be defended, but how can the harassee escape some responsibility for the problem?’’ Ron Paul is actually defending such passages from his 1987 book. This guy is actually getting votes from people who consider themselves sane?

C) The Inventor of the Internet is not gonna be pleased with this story. According to research data just released by the British Met Office and the University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit (from where the whole Glo-Bull Warming e-mail scandal erupted), the warming cycle ENDED in 1997. Yes, Al Gore has been verifiably full of crap on this issue for 15 years. In spite of this bit of scientific FACT, his minions are now on a crusade to force television weatherguys and weathergals to be Glo-Bull Warming activists. They are highly upset that the local meteorologists concentrate on their own localities and the short-term, along with the tidbit that only 31% or so believe Al Gore. To quote Colonel Nathan R. Jessup, “YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!”

D) So what is Ron Paul’s voting record on conservative issues? An examination of the facts might surprise some Paul supporters.

E) Michelle (***sigh***) Malkin has come out and made an endorsement, and it just so happens to be the candidate that I believe to be the best of the GOP bunch. Take a look at Michelle’s reasoning behind her pick of Rick Santorum.

F) Ron Paul even has his own Saul Alinsky/Jeremiah Wright figure in his background, a man who has helped Paul develop his foreign policy ideals. Robert Pape has worked with CAIR and Hamas to develop propaganda that blames the US and Israel for Islam’s hatred of all things non-muslim. One of their key points is that Islam has nothing to do with terrorism committed by Islamic and Islamist groups. All terrorism is because the US has been bombing the arabs for two decades and because Israel is “occupying” muslim land. Sorry, but the following command from the pedophilic false prophet Mohammed, which is contained in the charter of Hamas, was written over 13 CENTURIES ago: “The Day of Judgment will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdullah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.”

G) For those who do NOT believe that Islam is in the process of conquering Europe, please note that they are already trying to ban dogs from cities that have growing populations of the Followers of the Pedophilic False Prophet, and are instituting Sharia Law in other areas. A great (x17 or something) grandfather of my wife once led an army to stop the muslim invasion of Europe. Where is today’s Charles Martel?

H) The Second Worst President in American History was asked what he thought of Iran possibly already having their first nuclear fuel rod. He answered: “Well, of course, the religious leaders of Iran have sworn on their word of honor that they’re not going to manufacture nuclear weapons. If they are lying, then I don’t see that as a major catastrophe because they’ll only have one or two military weapons. Israel probably has 300 or so.” Hey Ron Paul Wannabe, Israel has weapons for self-defense. Iran has pledged to destroy Israel. If they get a nuke, they will use Hezbollah or Hamas to set it off in Tel Aviv. You don’t have any problem with that? On top of that, he believed what the religious leaders told him? What a moron. Islam COMMANDS that infidels are to be lied to in order to conceal muslim plans to destroy infidels and conquer the world.

I) For those who were so appalled by the Marines giving golden showers to dead Taliban, we present another episode of This Date in History, and look back ten years. Do you still believe our Marines are terrible animals?

J) The liberal war against all religions except Islam continues. HHS Secretary Sebelius has issued a statement saying that there will no longer be exemptions issued for religious non-profits concerning contraception. In other words, groups like Catholic Charities, who are run by religions that forbid contraceptive use, will be FORCED to provide coverage that offers those services for free. This is yet another reason for the Supreme Court to overturn Obamacare. This is WAAAAAY beyond any Constitutional authority. If it is not stopped now, the next step will be to force these organizations to cover abortions. The Catholic Church is not taking this lightly. Bishops across the country had protest letters read to their parishes during mass in response to this outrage.

K) In 2010, Ron Paul and Bawney Fwank put together a panel of “experts” to propose a plan to gut the American military. The panel was supposed to propose a “sustainable” military and was supposedly made up of people from across the political spectrum. In reality, the panel was made up of people from left wing groups that mostly had ties to George Soros. Does anybody out there still believe Paul when he claims that he wants a “robust” American military, when he has stated that he wants to slash military spending by 74%? The man is nothing but a liar.

L) Speaking of Ron Paul the Liar, he lied about Newt Gingrich being a draft dodger. Of course, Paul loves to point out how he served as a reason of why he cannot possibly be anti-military.

M) Newt is taking the attack to Romney, even as Mittens appears to be winning the Florida primary. Newt noted that in a recent interview George Soros said that there is no major difference between Romney and Obama. Newt also said: “The fact is I don’t believe the Republican party is going to nominate a liberal who is pro- abortion, pro gun-control pro tax-increase pro gay-rights and I don’t think Romney can frankly raise enough money to sustain the falsehoods that are the basis of his campaign.” I’m not as optimistic as Newt on that last point, since the GOP establishment is putting all of their money on the liberal.

“To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.” –Thomas Jefferson

1-29-2012 The Weekend Claw

First things first. No, I did not watch the State of the Union Campaign Speech and Lie Festival. I did not watch the GOP response, although I heard it was well done. That being said, don’t expect to see much on those topics this week.

Secondly, I will TRY to return my column to Wednesdays starting this week. The first Wednesday edition will include some of the Ron Paul material I’ve been saving up.

A) Lemme see if I’ve got this right. Ron Paul’s campaign CLAIMS to be getting more donations from the military than any other campaign, even though sources at bases around the country relay that there is NO support for the man who wants to slash 74% of the military budget. So we get to the first primary in a state that has a large military presence, and Paul finishes DEAD LAST. Then his campaign says that he is going to concentrate on the CAUCUS states of Nevada and Minnesota instead of competing in Florida, which just so happens to be a big military state. Sounds like he is AVOIDING the people that he claims to be getting support from!

B) Eric Holder has now been proven to have committed perjury in sworn testimony in Congressional hearings. The Department of Justice just released more documents concerning “Fast and Furious”, and included in it is confirmation that Holder was informed that Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was murdered using Fast and Furious weapons 18 miles within the US border, and that Holder was informed THAT DAY. Holder testified that he didn’t learn about it until months later. So when are the Congressional Republicans going to have the gonads to start impeachment hearings?

C) On the other hand, we have a Republican who really is loved by the military. This one actually pays attention to the world beyond our borders and knows that slashing our military is the WRONG thing to do.

D) The Democratic Party is now officially against the Constitutional right of freedom of association. This is shown in Indiana, where the Democrats in the state legislature are imitating their Wisconsin brethren in becoming FLEEBAGGERS. They have left town to prevent the passage of legislation that would give FREEDOM to the workers of their state. The legislation would make Indiana a right to work state, meaning that workers could not be FORCED to join unions or pay union dues equivalents in order to have a job. Compulsory union membership, which The Crawfish has been subjected to, should be abolished nationwide. It is pure anti-American.

E) George Soros is now publicly stating that the worsening economy will lead to violence, which will lead to governmental crackdowns. Of course, we have been saying all along that this was part of the plan. Major violence would lead to suspensions of the Constitution and the cancellation of the November elections, with Obama taking dictatorial powers. Thanks for confirming the plans, Nazi-boy. Now the question becomes…when and where are they going to have their Reichstag Fire-style false-flag event?

F) Speaking of George Soros and violence committed by his associates, we have a story that shows the power of a liberal education establishment and a liberal press in a nation other than our own. Twenty percent of Germans today don’t know that Auschwitz was a death camp, although ninety percent knew it was a concentration camp.

G) Barack Obama is trying to BARELY keep his Marxist beliefs under cover, but he can’t really help himself. While his policies are heavily influenced by Marxism and fascism, he knows that he can’t blatantly come out and use the same words that Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini, and others used. In a video sent out to his supporters in advance of the State of the Union Address and Campaign Commercial, The Chosen One says: “I’m going to lay out a blueprint for an American economy that’s built to last. And most importantly, a return to American values of fairness for all, and responsibility from all.” Did he really go there? Yes, he said that the basic slogan of Marxists over the past 140 years is an American value. “From each according to his ability (AKA: “responsibility from all”), to each according to his needs (AKA: “fairness for all”).”

H) Of course, his Campaign Commercial of the Union was full of ideas that have proven to be nothing but flops, just like every liberal idea in history. The amazing thing here is that the Associated Press did the fact checking!

I) It gets better. Obama continually reused lines from his previous SOTU propaganda addresses. Evidently it was good comedy.

J) I’m not saying that the major media is supporting Obama at all costs, but check this one out. MSLSD’s Chrissy “Tingly Leg” Matthews told a Congressman that the unemployment rate is lower under Obama than it was under Bush. Sorry, but according to stats from the Department of Labor, we have 1.7 million FEWER non-farm jobs in America than we had when The Chosen One descended from the clouds of Invesco Field and assumed his throne at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

K) Here’s your weird news of the week. Some legislators in Florida are trying to force stadium and arena owners to abide by a previously overlooked clause in the law respecting sports venues built using public funds. It seems that the venues are supposed to be turned into homeless shelters when the sports teams are out of season. Can you think of any better way to cause the quick destruction of those buildings?

L) Since the Chevy Dolt has been such a success…er, well since it was such a good idea…uh, since the lefties love the idea behind it, California is now making it a state law that 1 of every 7 cars sold in California by 2025 must be electric or zero emission. First of all, this is yet another blow to consumer rights. If consumers don’t want the oversized golf carts, why should they be FORCED to buy them? Secondly, electric cars are NOT ZERO EMISSION! Where do these idiots think the electricity to charge the batteries comes from? In California, the electrical grid is already overloaded, and the supply is dwindling, so they want to add more drain to it? What kinds of power plants produce that electricity? Third, if they want to increase the demand by that amount, they had better build at least two new nuclear power plants in California before then, and we know the envirowackos won’t allow that to happen. The crazy thing about this is that the automakers and auto dealers SUPPORT the new law. Why?

M) This past week saw the declaration of bankruptcy by not one, not two, but THREE “green energy” companies that received handouts from the Obama Administration. The only thing “shovel ready” about the so-called “stimulus” projects seems to be the burying of these companies, and the taxpayer funds given to them.

N) We have found the reason that Barack Obama is killing, against the wishes of his union thugs, the Keystone XL pipeline project. It seems that the pipeline would take some business away from Burlington Northern Santa Fe rail lines. Who is one of the major owners of BNSF LLC? Warren Buffett.

1-21-2012 The Weekend Claw

Another weird week has passed, in the political world and in the weather around the country. Even Casa Crustacean saw today’s high temperature a whole 30 degrees colder than yesterday. We only got up to 50 today.

A) A Clinton-appointed federal judge is telling students in Arizona to sue their school districts because they have removed La Raza studies, instituted under direction of the Clinton White House, in accordance with state law. The judge is telling the students that this violates their 1st Amendment rights. Really? Advocating that large parts of the USA rightfully belong to Mexico and causing racial strife is the goal of La Raza (“The Race”, itself a racist statement), so the state is correct in saying that this advocacy should be banned from schools supported by taxpayer dollars.

B) Let’s go back to last week for a moment. The big controversy over some Marines urinating on dead terrorists is still going strong, but let’s look at it in a different way, shall we? If you wiz on a crucifix and put it in a jar of urine, you are an artist exercising your First Amendment rights and are celebrated by the American media and the Democratic Party. If you cover a painting of the Virgin Mary in elephant crrrap, you are an artist exercising your First Amendment rights and are celebrated by the American media and the Democratic Party. If you urinate and defecate all over a public park and on police cars, you are a principled member of the 99% protesting against the evil of a world that isn’t yet socialist, and you are celebrated by the American media and the Democratic Party. If you urinate on the body of a dead Islamic terrorist, you are evil incarnate and vilified by the American media and the Democratic Party. Welcome to Bizarro World.

C) I know that y’all will find this absolutely shocking, but Barack Obama is going to break the law. He flat out said to both Houses of Congress that he will indeed break federal law and give missile technology to the Soviet Unio…er, Russia, who will then pass along the information to Iran, China, and North Korea. So, which side is he on again?

D) The Malignant Dwarf is at it again. Dennis Kucinich, who is perhaps the only member of Congress that is nuttier than Ron Paul and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, is reviving the Gas Price Spike Act, which would put a government board in charge of deciding what prices and profits are “fair” in the oil and gas bidness. Ed Morrissey explains in this article how the two top industries on the Democrat’s “Villain List”, oil and insurance, are not really as profitable as the liberals portray. Imagine that…liberals don’t have any clue on how businesses really operate. On top of that, who gets the most profits from gasoline sales? The federal government taxes gasoline at 18.4 cents per gallon, and diesel fuel at 24.4 cents per gallon. The states pile on with more taxes, averaging 28.6 cents per gallon in 2009, and some local governments get a penny or two as well. In January of 2011, the average tax on gasoline totaled 48.1 cents per gallon, with diesel at 53.1 cents per gallon. Yes, GOVERNMENT gets the most profit on gasoline and diesel, and they don’t have any expenses or perform any work to get that money.

E) Here’s something that hasn’t made it into the main stream media. According to the latest count, Rick Santorum was actually the winner in Iowa, and there are some votes that are still missing. Too bad this message is counter to what the media and the GOP establishment want you to know.

F) Just in case y’all didn’t know what the result would be from years of liberal indoctrination in the schools and liberal city governance, this story will show you the depths to which the mentality of Washington, DC, has fallen. I couldn’t make this up if I tried.

G) Once again, while the Democrats and Eric Holder try to say that voter ID laws are raaaaacist and that voter fraud never happens, we have more evidence that voter fraud is a standard practice for the Democrats in Noo Yawk state. A leader of the Mississippi NAACP was convicted on voter fraud charges last year. Even Barack Obama’s own semi-home state of Corruptionois provides even more evidence, with sixteen counties having more registered voters than they have living voting age residents. Of course, we have always known that Illinois cemeteries are full of loyal Democrat voters.

H) Newsweek magazine isn’t even attempting to hide their bias now. Their cover story in the latest issue is written by Andrew Sullivan, the guy who tried for months to develop evidence for his smears against Sarah Palin, such as Trig being Bristol’s baby instead of Sarah’s. The title of his newest article, according to the mag’s cover, is “Why are Obama’s critics so dumb?” No wonder Newsweek was recently sold by the left wing Washington Post at a ridiculously low price of ONE DOLLAR. Then again, the buyer is the husband of Representative Jane Harmon (Donkey-California). This means that Newsweek is now the official “news magazine” (aka propaganda arm) of the Congressional Democrats.

I) The Keystone Pipeline is going to be killed. Hitlery! and her cabal in the State Department are recommending against it, even though the most recent legislation concerning the pipeline mandates that only Obama can make the decision…but since when do Democrats care what laws actually say. So Obama and the leadership of his party are going to listen to the environmental extremists instead of providing jobs and energy capacity for America. The Democrats are blaming Republicans, saying there haven’t been enough environmental studies to allow the project to continue on such short notice, even though they have had over three years to study it. They say the studies can’t be completed until after the election. It figures that Hitlery! would be involved, since it was her Administration that gave China military secrets and missile guidance technology in exchange for campaign donations. Why shouldn’t she be in favor of the Canadians routing the pipeline to west coast terminals owned by China?

J) President Obama concurred with the State Department and killed the pipeline, then had the audacity to say that extended unemployment benefits would provide more jobs than the pipeline. Huh? Keeping people unemployed provides more jobs than a project that the low-ball estimates say would create 200,000+ jobs? That echoes what Red Nanny P-Lousy has repeatedly said, which means it must be the official policy of the Democratic Party that the American people are so stooooopid as to believe that illogical nonsense.

K) Not only does the nonsense of keeping people unemployed as a job creation measure not make any sense, it is directly contrasted by the President’s own jobs council, which this week called for MORE oil pipeline construction and MORE drilling in order to spur job creation. The council notes that these are the positions of the House GOP, but that the Senate Democrats and President Obama have been blocking them.

L) The Obama Administration took another swipe at the American jobs market when they gave a billion dollar contract for Air Force light support aircraft to a Brazilian company with connections to China, George Soros, and Iran. The company that did NOT get the contract is the American company of Hawker-Beechcraft.

M) Microsoft is developing an app for smart phones, and this app has the NAACP’s knickers in a twist. The app would help drivers and pedestrians avoid high crime areas of cities. Since the black areas of all major cities are also the high crime areas, this is seen by the race pimps as raaaaacist. The Dallas NAACP leader will be “up in arms” if this app goes online, and is upset that it will guide people away from MLK Blvd. Well, since MLK Blvd in every city happens to be in a high crime area, the proper response would be for the NAACP to clean up their own neighborhoods!

N) The PC Police are at it again regarding school mascots. Over the past two decades innocuous names such as the Marquette Warriors have been changed because they were racially insensitive, even if they weren’t (all current and former members of the US military are WARRIORS!). Now comes another reason to nix a name. A Utah school board polled the future students of a high school that would be opening soon. The winning mascot name was “Cougars”, but the school board said that “Cougars” would be insensitive to women since that is also a term for a middle-aged woman who is sexually aggressive toward younger men. How many of those middle-aged women would be students? None, so there is no problem.

“[A] wise and frugal government … shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government.” –Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address, 1801

1-14-2012 The Weekend Claw

The Crawfish must apologize to his readers for not posting any columns last weekend. My hard drive died and the recovery disk was junk. I had to get new disks from HP after replacing the drive unit. I also had problems restoring my files and even lost a ton of internet bookmarks, which will reduce the variety of sources used for these columns until I remember all of those sites.

A) Ron Paul and the Democrats don’t want y’all to notice how China is building up their military forces and making threats around the South China Sea and Indian Ocean, but at least the US Navy is still paying attention. In case y’all have missed it, which is easy with the lack of media coverage, China is now operating their first aircraft carrier, with plans for many more. They are also flight testing their first stealthy strike fighter. They have something like 40,000,000 more men than women, and the only way to start balancing that out is through a very bloody war. They still wish to conquer Taiwan, and now they wish to dominate the entire region.

B) The Taliban and Afghan leader Karzai have their turbans in a twist, and that means the Obama Administration has to get miffed. It seems some Marines were filmed urinating on some dead Taliban. There is outrage galore. The Noo Yawk Slimes will probably run it on their front page for a month or two, like they did with Abu-Ghraib. The Crawfish counters this wailing and gnashing of teeth with a couple of points. First, why is this considered outrageous behavior, when beheading innocents and holding up the head on video isn’t, nor is shooting dozens of school kids like at Breslan? Second, it was probably the closest thing to a bath that those Taliban had received in the past decade. The only thing that offended me was the fact that the bodies were still recognizable as humanoids. That means that the Marines didn’t use enough firepower or explosives. Go watch HBO’s “The Pacific” and tell me that these Marines were sooooo bad.

C) The Obama-Holder war against religion, which is just a small part of the war against religion (except Islam) being waged by the Democratic Party, the media, Hollyweird, and powerful leftists throughout the USA and the world, was delivered a solid kick to the junk by the Supreme Court. In a UNANIMOUS decision, the Court ruled that the Constitution does not allow the government to have any say in the decision of a religious entity, in this case the Lutheran Church, to hire or fire a minister. A female had been trained and accepted as a Lutheran minister, but evidently did something to convince the Church’s governing body that she was unfit to be a minister for their Church. When they fired her, she claimed discrimination. The Obama Administration, seeing another opportunity to diminish religious liberties in America, immediately joined her case. Chief Justice Roberts and the entire Court stood tall for the First Amendment. Now, will they do the same for the anti-Christian aspects of Obamacare?

D) Here is The Crawfish’s nominee for “Mother of the Year” for 2011. This young lass lost her husband to cancer on Christmas Day. Then she had armed men trying to break into her home on New Year’s Eve. She went to protect her baby, and called 9-1-1. She told the operator that she was armed and asked for a police officer to respond immediately. The operator let her know that it would be okay if she shot to defend herself after the men got into the house. One perp eventually got arrested. The other one assumed ambient room temperature. Whenever a liberal brings up gun control, just remind them that when seconds count, as in this case, the police are always just minutes away.

E) Poll Katz e-mailer Bill sent along word that President Obama is considering a 40% tax on aspirin. Evidently this is because aspirin is white and it works.

F) The judge for the trial of former Democrat Senator and Vice Presidential nominee “Silky Pony” Edwards says that Edwards has a “life-threatening” condition. Did he run out of hairspray?

G) Here we go again with liberals at an unConstitutional government agency running amok. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is warning employers that any requirement that a job applicant be a high school graduate or equivalent violates the Americans with Disabilities Act. Where does the Constitution give the federal government the authority to interfere with the private business contracts between an employer and an employee, and since when does not wanting an education qualify as a disability?

H) A one-month old in New Mexico was raped and murdered by an illegal alien in the first week of 2012. Since the perp was a non-dryback, the major media and the Obama Administration acted like nothing happened.

I) Speaking of media cover-ups, there was a mass murder in the Fort Worth-Dallas Metroplex on Christmas Day. Members of a family were shot to death while opening their presents. The killer was the estranged Dad, who was there in a Santa suit. The cops said that motive was “unimportant”, which is unusual until you notice that the killer was a muslim who didn’t like the fact that his family was not adhering to Sharia Law. They had become Westernized, so he did his religious duty according to the Quran and the faithful Followers of the Pedophilic False Prophet. Whenever the motive is Islam, the media, the Democratic Party, and some law enforcement agencies consider the motive “unimportant” or “unknown”.

J) While Sultan Bu’raq bin al Obama and his party refuse to acknowledge Islamic terrorism, they are also failing to acknowledge that there are now 35 Islamic terrorist training centers around our nation. Of course, since these people are not white Christian veterans they are to be ignored by Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano.

K) Here’s more on how Obama, the Democratic Party, most of the media, and Ron Paul are ignoring the truth about the Muslim Brotherhood, Islam, and Islamists. Then again, are they ignoring the truth or are they just trying to shield the truth from the American public?

L) Check out this graph from the St. Louis Federal Reserve and note how national debt as a percentage of GDP has shot up since Harry Reid took over the Senate, which coincided with Nancy Pelosi taking over the House, and Barack Obama being a Senator. Then watch it go much higher after Barack Obama became President. Yes, those numbers went up under W, but it took Democrats to make them skyrocket.

M) I brought this story to y’all a few months back, as a co-worker of mine was from that area. Now it has FINALLY gone to SCOTUS. Some of the Justices, especially Justice Alito, seemed to be highly offended by the actions of the EPA and the government. Let’s hope that the rights of property owners are, for a change, upheld.

N) His Majesty took the time to jack with American military personnel and their families over the Christmas holiday. The man has absolutely zero respect for our men and women in uniform. He’s in it for the power and whatever perks he can squeeze out of the taxpayers. I’d say that he is a jackass, but that would be an insult to Democrats and other jackasses.

O) It must be nice to live in a world completely void of reality, like Debbie Wasserman Shultz does. Here’s the latest quote from the one brain cell wonder: “You know, I’m a hundred percent confident that the people of Iowa and the American people will win the day on November 6th of this year when President Obama is re-elected because of his policies, because of the fact that he has brought this country out of the worst economic disaster that we faced since the Great Depression and the people of America know.”

P) Hmmmm. It looks like someone needs to be arrested next January! We know it won’t happen under the current Administration.

Q) The Administration and Incompetano’s Department of Homeland Insecurity screwed up big time. They had officers with semi-automatic weapons set up a checkpoint outside of a Florida Social Security office, and they were checking IDs. I thought checking IDs was only something those RAAAAAAACIST Republicans wanted to do!

R) Meanwhile, there is evidence starting to pile up showing that many non-living people and people who live in other states are indeed voting in elections. James O’Keefe and his organization even made videos during the New Hampshire primaries showing election officials handing out ballots in the names of dead people. Just imagine what it is like in Chicago! Now remember that the two main lines of reason that the Democrats are using in court action against voter ID laws are that the law disenfranchises the poor, especially blacks, and that voter fraud never happens in the US. This kinda shoots that last one down.

S) Barack Obama’s drunk driving illegal alien uncle STILL has not gone to trial. On top of that, his lawyer is demanding to get a copy of the driving record of the cop who arrested Uncle Onyango. What does the COP’S driving record have to do with the illegal alien driving drunk? Why would any judge allow this tripe? The judge must be a good Democrat hoping for an appointment to the federal bench.

T) Those folks at Solyndra, you know…the ones who got a $500 million gift from Obama and an illegal change in bankruptcy laws so that they got to keep some of the money in order to make donations to Obama and his friends…well, their bankruptcy attorneys were in court asking the judge to let the company hand out bonuses, supposedly to keep their remaining workers at the company. One worker who made over $206,000.00 last year would get another $50,000.00 if the plan is approved. I’m sorry, but if that person made over $200K last year, they don’t need any more of the taxpayers’ money. If they want to pay bonuses, they should pay them from the pockets of the people who have profited from Obama’s gift and from the campaigns that received donations from that company.

New Year’s Eve 2011- The Weekend Claw

It appears that my last column, using Ron Paul’s own words to prove that he is a lunatic, sent the Paulbots’ heads into a continuing cycle of buzz-click-does not compute-buzz… Not a single point has been refuted. They didn’t even bother to screech.

A) Our good friend Buck sent in this link. Our esteemed Emperor Barack I and his lieutenants Red Nanny P-Lousy and Dingy Harry evidently pushed this through without much fanfare, since they knew the actual working people of America would go absolutely bat guano if they heard of it. There is now a government-sponsored (that means completely paid for by the taxpayers, for those of you who were educated by union teachers) program that now provides FREE cell phones and 250 minutes every month for the folks who are too lazy to get a job (or are living in the underground economy selling drugs or their bodies). Go ahead and look up “Obama phone” in your preferred search engine. We are over 14 trillion dollars in debt, but we can provide even MORE freebies to the leeches of society? The “poor” in America now get free food, free housing, free utilities, free money, more free money for every baby they have (as long as the sperm donor doesn’t marry or live with the mother), and free phone service. In some places, they even get free computers and internet service.

B) The Washington Examiner has posted their annual Top Ten list of Most Corrupt Politicians for 2011. The list is not compiled by their editorial board, but rather by a legal group that has no particular political bias. As expected Obama, Holder, Alcee Hastings, Jesse Jr. and Blago (co-conspirators), and Maxine Waters are on it. The only other Dem is Laura Richardson. Republicans on the list are John Ensign, Spencer Bachus, David Rivera, and Don Young.

C) Speaking of corrupt politicians, check out what the corrupt city council is doing in Filthadelphia. Every single one of them is a Democrat, and the majority are black. They put in a plan that will now allow them to retire, collect hundreds of thousands as a “pension”, then get sworn back in after the weekend is over to keep serving. Can you imagine the national press coverage of this if it was Republican politicians?

D) Here’s some information regarding Ron Paul from one of his former staffers. The staffer says that Ron Paul is definitely NOT a racist. Okay, the only racist stuff we’ve found in his past was from his newsletter, as his hiring practices and such have not shown racism. The staffer does confirm that Ron Paul hates Israel, wishes Israel to be wiped from the map, and consistently sides with the so-called “palestinians” at every opportunity. He also states that Ron Paul is a complete isolationist and thinks we had no business being involved in the European Theater in World War 2, despite the fact that Hitler and Mussolini declared war on us. Ron Paul believes that we entered that war to save the Jews from Hitler, and we had no reason to do so. The staffer confirms that Ron Paul is an idiot on foreign policy.

E) So, your Majesty King Barack I, how’d that “arab spring” work out? Well, representatives from all of the Islamic terrorist groups (which you refuse to acknowledge as Islamic), the government of Turkey, and the two main parties forming the new Egyptian government (Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafists), have met to plan their next moves in their continuing quest to eliminate Israel and form the Worldwide Caliphate. Looks like your goals, and those of Ron Paul, are close to being accomplished.

F) Ann-Marie Murrell has this to say about the Christmas bombings in Nigeria: “The Islamic terrorists in Nigeria–who killed 39 or more Christians celebrating Christmas in a Catholic church–are called Boko Haram. Their goal is to spread Shariah throughout Africa & rid the world of all-things Western (aka the US). As of today, they aren’t on our State Dept’s terrorist list. IF they’d killed Muslims instead of Christians, would that make a difference? Hmmm.” She’s correct, of course. So who is this bunch of militants from the Religion of Peace? They want to remove all traces of Western culture from Africa. Sounds like Obama’s (and Paul’s) kind of people.

G) Then there are Ron Paul’s friends in Iran, who arrested a whole congregation (including children) during Christmas Day services.

H) Y’all ain’t gonna believe this one. Well, if you’ve been paying attention to Ron Paul you will, but his Paulbots will have a cow over it. Here we have, on the House floor, Ron Paul saying that Hamas was created by Israel. Really? In the real world, which is rarely visited by Paul or his minions, Hamas was created in 1987 as an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood. Their goal, as defined in their charter, is to create an Islamic state in what is now Israel. He thinks Israel created THAT? The man is completely delusional.

I) The Islamic terrorist front group CAIR has scored another victory in the USA. They have managed to force WordPress into deleting a site that exposed the truth about the Religion of Peace. Yes, in America under the muslim President muslim groups get their way with threats, but if a Catholic group tried this they would be under attack by the Affirmative Action Attorney General and his Injustice Department.

J) Michelle (***sigh***) Malkin’s end-of-the-year column is all about Obama’s scandals and those who keep denying that Obama has any scandals. ‘Tis a good read.

K) The Obama Housing and Urban Development Department is now going to offer their services in over 175 languages. First of all, that department is unConstitutional and should have its budget zeroed out. If our government is going to pay for housing it should be for those who are mentally and/or physically disabled to the point of not being able to work and who don’t have any family to assist them. Secondly, we should pay exactly NO entitlement benefits to non-citizens, and since English proficiency is required to earn citizenship, that means that there is no need to have any government agency (unless dealing with international relations, travel/tourism, immigration, or international trade) use any language other than English. Yes this includes voting ballots.

L) For any of y’all who haven’t paid attention over the years, here is the truth about Kwanzaa, the anti-white fake holiday.

M) “Black idiots shoot Marine Officer 3 times. Marine plugs holes with own fingers.” Yep, that describes the latest activity from Broward County, Florida. A pair of local ne’er-do-wells tried to rob a gold chain from a 29-year old Marine officer. He resisted, so they shot him three times in the chest. The Lieutenant Colonel put his own fingers in the holes to staunch the bleeding, ran back to his truck, and told his kids he’d be fine. The idiots were quickly arrested. OOOOOH-RAH!

N) After the Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee spent over a million to bolster his image, Senator Ben Nelson (Donkey-Nebraska) is going to retire at the end of this term. That will probably mean another Senate seat gained for the GOP in this election cycle. Does anybody out there think the GOP can not only get a majority, but possibly hit the 60 seat mark?

O) While the Obama’s are blowing $4 million dollars on a vacation, with almost all of that coming from the taxpayers, Marie Antoinette….er, Michelle Obama is asking the little people to each toss another $3 into the hat to make sure she can take these vacations for another four years. “LET THEM EAT ARUGULA!”

12-28-2011 Special “Ron Paul is a Lunatic” Edition of The Claw

This is a special edition of The Claw dedicated to exposing the insanity of Ron Paul. The first parts are taken directly from the transcript of the Sioux City Fox News debate, with my own commentary tossed in. Since this column went so long, and I have soooo much more on this topic, I will run another special edition next week.

RON PAUL

The main problem we have is the government is too big and the debt is too big and you have to cut spending so you have to get people to come together. They have been coming together to increase spending for decades. We have to get them to come together to do the opposite.

But there are two factions up there, one wants welfare and the other want warfare around the world and policing the world. So you go to people who like warfare you say give me half of the cuts that have to be in the welfare. Go to welfare people and say give me the cuts to cut the oversea warfare spending and bring people together and live up to what they say.

THE CRAWFISH
Since Ron Paul also stated that he would be cutting the budget by a trillion dollars, this means that he would be cutting national defense by 500 billion. The 2012 national defense budget is 682 billion. This means he wants to cut our national defense by over 73%. That is beyond insane. Cutting out unConstitutional departments, agencies, and entitlements would bring our budget into balance.

MODERATOR
Congressman Paul, many Middle East experts now say Iran may be less than one year away from getting a nuclear weapon. Now, judging from your past statements, even if you had solid intelligence that Iran, in fact, was going to get a nuclear weapon, President Paul would remove the U.S. sanctions on Iran, included those added by the Obama administration. So, to be clear, GOP nominee Paul would be running left of President Obama on the issue of Iran?

RON PAUL

But I’d be running with the American people, because it would be a much better policy. For you to say that there is some scientific evidence and some people arguing that maybe in a year they might have a weapon, there’s a lot more saying they don’t have it.

There’s no U.N. evidence of that happening. Clapper at the — in our national security department, he says there is no evidence. It’s no different than it was in 2003. You know what I really fear about what’s happening here? It’s another Iraq coming. There’s war propaganda going on.

And we’re arguing — to me, the greatest danger is that we will have a president that will overreact and we will soon bomb Iran. And the sentiment is very mixed. It’s — it’s very mixed even in Israel. You know, there — the — a head of the security for Israel, who just recently retired, said that it wouldn’t make sense to do this, to take — to take them out, because they might be having a weapon. So I would say that the greatest danger is overreacting. There is no evidence that they have it. And it would make more sense — if we lived through the Cold War, which we did, with 30,000 missiles pointed at us, we ought to really sit back and think and not jump the gun and believe that we are going to be attacked. That’s how we got into that useless war in Iraq and lost so much in Iraq.

THE CRAWFISH

First of all, there is puh-lenty of evidence that Iran is building nukes. They are working with the North Koreans on bombs and missiles. The latest North Korean underground bomb test was publicly called a failure by military sources in the West, but those same sources have quietly acknowledged that the readings of the test would be exactly what they would expect if the NorKs were testing an EMP weapon.

Secondly, there’s a huge difference between the Soviet Union of the Cold War and Iran of today. The Sovs were lead by sane people without death wishes. They did not want to risk a full-blown nuclear war. Iran’s Mad Mullahs and I’minajihad have said that they WILL use nukes if they get them. They have pledged to exterminate our ally Israel. They WILL give those nukes to groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. If they get killed in a reprisal strike, that is fine with them. They would then be martyrs for Islam. One of the first indicators we will see if Iran finishes a nuclear weapon will be a large cloud rising over Tel Aviv.

Third, not only did we actually find WMDs in Iraq in the form of chemical artillery shells, but that was not the real reason to invade in 2003. You see, we signed (and the Senate ratified) a ceasefire accord with Iraq in 1991. Those accords said that if Iraq violated the terms, the Desert Storm Coalition was required to reform and militarily remove Saddam’s government from power. Bill Clinton said multiple times during his Administration that Saddam was breaking the terms. Clinton violated the law by only ordering pin prick airstrikes instead of reforming the Coalition and invading Iraq. George W. Bush, for all his faults, was 100% in compliance with Constitutional law by invading in 2003.

MODERATOR

Iran is reportedly running exercises on closing the Strait of Hormuz, a key passage, as you know, for global trade. Now what should the U.S. response be if Iran were to take that dramatic step?

RON PAUL

(Screeching) This is — the plans are on the book. All they talk about is, when are we, the West, going to bomb Iran? So why wouldn’t they talk about — they don’t have a weapon, they don’t have a nuclear weapon, why wouldn’t they try to send out some information there and say, you know, if you come and bomb us, we might close the Straits of Hormuz down.

So already the President, and I think he is wisely backing off on the sanctions, because it’s going to be an economic calamity if you take all the oil out of Europe. So I think that makes sense.
He knows these sanctions are overreaching. Sanctions are an act of war when you prevent goods and services from going into a country. We need to approach this a little differently. We have 12,000 diplomats in our services. We ought to use a little bit of diplomacy once in a while.

THE CRAWFISH

Wow, that made almost zero sense. Since when does Iran respond to diplomacy? On top of that, if Iran wasn’t building nukes, why would they refuse to allow inspectors back into their nuclear facilities to verify the claims?

MODERATOR

Senator Santorum, you have a very different thought about the threat from Iran. For several years, according to the U.S. military leaders, Iran has provided training, funding, and lethal arms to jihadists killing American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Are those acts of war?

RICK SANTORUM

They have been continually. They just tried to plan an attack here in this country, killing the Saudi ambassador. They have been at war with us since 1979. The IEDs that have killed so many soldiers, they are manufactured in Iran.

This is — Iran is not any other country. It is a country that is ruled by the equivalent of al Qaeda on top of this country. They are a radical theocracy. The principle virtue of the Islamic Republic of Iran, according to President Ahmadinejad, is not freedom, opportunity, its martyrdom.

The idea, Ron, that mutual assured destruction, like the policy during the Cold War with the Soviet Union would work on Iran when their principle virtue is martyrdom, is — mutual assured destruction with respect to Iran would not be any kind of, you know, idea of preventing a war. It would be an inducement to a war.

This is what their objective is. Their objective is to in fact create a calamity. This is what their theology teaches. They believe that it is their mission to take on the West. They don’t hate us because of what we do or the policies we have. They hate us because of who we are and what we believe in.

And we need to make sure that they do not have a nuclear weapon. And we should be working with the state of Israel right now. We should use covert activity. And we should be planning a strike against their facilities and say, if you do not open up those facilities and not close them down, we will close them down for you.

THE CRAWFISH

Well said, Senator. While you are correct that Iran has only been at war with us since 1979 (thank you, James Earl Carter), Islam has been at war with the entire non-muslim world for over 13 centuries. Their holy book commands that all non-believers be converted, enslaved (the term is dhimmitude), or put to the sword. The whole world is to be conquered and a worldwide Caliphate is to be implemented.

MODERATOR

Governor Romney, this week President Obama said the U.S. asked Iran to give our downed high-tech drone back. As you know, the Iranians have it on display. They claim they are extracting data from it and they have no intention of giving it back.

Yesterday you called the president’s response, quote, “extraordinarily weak and timid.” Now in your book you write, quote, “weakness invites challenges, acts of intimidation, acts of aggression, and sometimes war.”

So in this case, are President Obama’s actions inviting war?

MITT ROMNEY

Absolutely. Does timidity and weakness invite aggression on the part of other people? Absolutely. A strong America, a strong America is the best ally peace has ever known. This is a president with — the spy drone being brought down, he says pretty please? A foreign policy based on pretty please? You have got to be kidding.

This is a president who fundamentally believes that this next century is the post-American century. Perhaps it’s going to be the Chinese century. He is wrong. It has to be the American century. America has to lead the free world.

And the free world has to lead the entire world. The right course under President Obama’s plans is to shrink our military, thinking somehow if we appease or accommodate the tyrants of the world, that the world will be safer. He’s wrong.

The right course for America is to strengthen our economy, our values, our families, and our military. We need to rebuild our Navy and go from nine ships a year to 15. We need to modernize our Air Force. We need 100,000 new additional troops in our military. We need to take care of our veterans in the way they deserve.

It is time for us to recognize once again a strong military does not create war. A strong America prevents people from trying to test us around the world.

THE CRAWFISH

Well said, Governor Romney. Now will you please explain to Ron Paul how his plan to cut our defense budget by 73% would be sheer madness?

MODERATOR

Congresswoman Bachmann, today is the official end of the U.S. military operations in Iraq, and there is real concern, as you know, about growing Iranian influence inside Iraq. Also, the deputy prime minister there has expressed concerns about the country possibly slipping into civil war. Are there any circumstances as president where you would send U.S. troops back in to Iraq?

MICHELE BACHMANN

Well, I think clearly the biggest mistake that President Obama has made — and there are many when it comes to foreign policy — has been the decision that he made regarding Iraq. He was essentially given on a silver platter victory in Iraq, and he’s choosing intentionally to lose the peace.

And we all know what’s going to happen. We know that Iran is going to be the hegemony and try to come into Iraq and have the dominant influence. And then Iran will essentially have dominance from the Persian Gulf all the way to the Mediterranean through its ally, Syria.

And with all due respect to Ron Paul, I think I have never heard a more dangerous answer for American security than the one that we just heard from Ron Paul. And I’ll tell you the reason why.
And the reason why I would say that is because we know, without a shadow of a doubt, that Iran will take a nuclear weapon, they will use it to wipe our ally, Israel, off the face of the map, and they’ve stated they will use it against the United States of America.

Look no further than the Iranian constitution, which states unequivocally that their admission — their mission is to extend jihad across the world and eventually to set up a worldwide caliphate. We would be fools and knaves to ignore their purpose and their plan.

RON PAUL

Obviously, I would like to see a lot less nuclear weapons. I — I don’t want Iran to have a nuclear weapon. I would like to reduce them, because there would be less chance of war.
But to declare war on 1.2 billion Muslims and say all Muslims are the same, this is dangerous talk. Yeah, there are some radicals, but they don’t come here to kill us because we’re free and prosperous. Do they go to Switzerland and Sweden? I mean, that’s absurd.

THE CRAWFISH

Uh, Ron? They declared war on us 13 centuries ago. If they are abiding by exactly what the Quran says, they are not being “radicals”. You are acting like the Democrats in America who call anyone who believes in the Constitution of the United States by that same term. The Islamists ARE going into Switzerland and Sweden. They have not made many attacks there, but they are immigrating there and breeding like rabbits, just like they are doing in Britain, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, etc. They will be in position to take control of those nations within a few generations.

RON PAUL

If you think that is the reason, we have no chance of winning this. They come here and explicitly explain it to us. The CIA has explained it to us. It said they come here and they want to do us harm because we’re bombing them.

THE CRAWFISH

No, they are doing it because that is what their religion REQUIRES them to do. Was Italy bombing arabs when Black September struck in Rome? They are Islamists, bent on spreading Islam across the globe. They strike us because we are the strongest force that can counter them. Please return to reality!

RON PAUL

What is the whole world about the drone being in Iran? And we’re begging and pleading, and how are we going to start a war to get this drone back? Why were we flying the drone over Iran? Why do we have to bomb so many countries? Why are we in — have 900 bases, 130 countries, and we’re totally bankrupt? How are you going to rebuild the military when we have no money? How are we going to take care of the people?

So I think — I think this wild goal to have another war in the name of defense is the dangerous thing. The danger is really us overreacting. And we need a strong national defense. And we need to only go to war with a declaration of war, and just carelessly flouting it and starting these wars so often.

THE CRAWFISH

If you don’t understand the concept of forward deployment, then you have no business trying to be Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. We have those bases around the world so we can get our forces and supplies wherever we need them in a rapid manner.

MICHELE BACHMANN

Can I respond? And the problem would be the greatest under-reaction in world history if we have an avowed madman who uses that nuclear weapon to wipe nations off the face of the Earth. And we have an IAEA report that just recently came out that said, literally, Iran is within just months of being able to obtain that weapon. Nothing could be more dangerous than the comments that we just heard.

RON PAUL

(Screeching and sputtering) There is no U.N. report that said that. It’s totally wrong on what — what you just said.

MICHELE BACHMANN

It’s an IAEA report.

RON PAUL

(Losing all control) That — that is not — that is not true. They — they produced information that led you to believe that, but they have no evidence. There’s no — been no enrichment of these bombs.

MICHELE BACHMANN

And if we agree with that, the United States’ people could be at risk of our national security.

RON PAUL

OK. She took my time, so I’d like — I’d like to finish. If she thinks we live in a dangerous world, she ought to think back when I was drafted in the 1962 with nuclear missiles in Cuba. And Kennedy calls Khrushchev and talks to them, and talks them out of this so we don’t have a nuclear exchange.

And you’re trying to dramatize this, that we have to go and — and treat Iran like we’ve treated Iraq and kill a million Iraqis, and 8,000-some Americans have died since we’ve gone to war. You cannot solve these problems with war. You can solve the problems if we follow our constitution and go to war only when we declare the war, win them and get them over with instead of this endless fighting and this endless attitude that we have enemy all around the world.

THE CRAWFISH

Kennedy blockaded Cuba. You would call that an act of war. Your knowledge of the use of military force in relation to the Constitution is quite faulty. There is a difference between limited action and full war. The Founding Fathers knew that. Jefferson fought the Barbary Pirates without a declaration of war. Look up the Monroe Doctrine. As for many of our actions, it is impossible to declare war against people who are not a real nation state. Al Qaida isn’t a nation state, so we cannot declare war on them. The pirates of Somalia are not a nation state.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/2012-presidential-debates/republican-primary-debate-december-15-2011/

In response to this article about Dr. Paul possibly winning in Iowa, I found a response that is better than any I could ever write regarding Dr. Paul:

John R. Vigil, MD Says:
December 19th, 2011 at 1:09 pm I was surprised to see the results of the Fox News Poll showing Ron Paul leading in who the pollsters thought would win the Iowa caucus vote. While, I consider myself a conservative and lean more towards libertarianism, I am nonetheless, quite frankly concerned about the possibility of Ron Paul winning the primaries and–God forbid–possibly becoming president of the United States. My concern comes as a fellow physician who believes that Dr. Paul suffers from a real psychological disorder characterized by megalomania, narcissism, delusional thinking, paranoia, antisocial characteristics, and (abnormal) feelings of persecution. Now, I am not a psychiatrist, but I did minor in psychology as an undergraduate and most physicians have been educated in the behavioral sciences and have been trained to diagnose common psychiatric disorders. Furthermore, it is estimated that the incidence of Narcissistic Personality Disorder occurs 34 times more often in medical doctors than in the general population.
Over the last several weeks, I have been studying Dr. Paul as well as his followers through his television appearances, his letters (and Newsletters), social media, and video clips from You-tube and have noted a very disturbing pattern of Dr. Paul showing all of the psycopathological characteristics of a genuine “cult leader” and his followers showing all of the characteristics of a cult. I have studied cults and their leaders and have outlined the “five basic rules” of being a cult leader. I have also indicated the psychopathology associated with cult leaders as they form their cults:
The number one rule of a cult leader is to polish and cultivate a persona that you–and only you–have been chosen, anointed, or have achieved spiritual, political, or intellectual enlightenment above all others. This shows features of megalomania, delusions of grandeur, as well as narcissism.
1. Dr. Paul has tried to cultivate this persona for over 30 years as the “outsider” and enlightened one within the “Washington establishment”.
2. Dr. Paul has publicly stated that while he believes in term limits, they do not apply to him because (paraphrasing) “there is no one good enough to bring in to replace him”.
3. In 2010, Dr. Paul commented to his wife that he would run for President in 2012 “if things were happening so quickly and fast in our country and we were in a crisis period…and needed somebody…with the knowledge he as, he would do it”.
4. Dr. Paul presents in interviews as haughty and stern and seems to be lecturing rather than engaging in conversation.
The next rule is to appeal to the disconnected, disenchanted, and disaffected in society who are often intellectually, politically, and emotionally immature (i.e., younger people)and convince them that while you have been “chosen” (or more likely self-selected) you are (almost) human just like them and can empathize with their disenchantment and discontent. This shows more tendencies of narcissism and ego-feeding by someone who sees them self as inherently better than others, but with a need to surround one’s self with those less fortunate or less “enlightened”—a “savior complex”, if you will. Often times, the empathy and compassion shown to the acolytes is not genuine (which is a feature of antisocial personality) and is only used for the ulterior motive of personal gain in sex, money, or power (or sense of superiority) or combination thereof.
1. Dr. Paul has always had a relatively small number of fanatical followers who have mostly been drawn from younger people in society. He routinely targets schools, colleges, and other events where younger people tend to be.
2. His “populist” message today resonates with many, besides young people as social, geopolitical, and economic turmoil are perceived to be worsening and more and more people become disenfranchised, disenchanted, and discontent.
3. Dr. Paul’s ploy of not accepting Medicare payment for his Medicare services or a congressional pension—while on the surface seem like noble gestures—are really means to portray himself as “one of us” and morally higher than his colleagues.
The third step is through indoctrination, coercion, repetition, and/or isolation to exercise mind control over your flock of followers by relieving them of their ability to think rationally (usually by not allowing them to test your theories or have access to “the outside”)—but not emotionally—while simultaneously convincing them that your ideas—while plausible (but generally at the far fringes of mainstream thought) are the “light and the truth”. This shows more elements of antisocial ego-building in that the leader is now getting others to surrender their will and rational thought against deep seated norms of the self and/or society while they align their thinking towards that of the leader. Furthermore, this shows the disordered or delusional thinking of the leader who generally has delusional thinking of the world and how it operates and he or she is the only one with the power to fix it.
1. Dr. Paul plays on the emotions of his followers by carefully crafting plausible—and easy to understand– (but highly improbable and at the fringes of mainstream thought) scenarios out of complex geopolitical, political, social and economic issues that are at “top of mind” of our society and that tug at some of our most basic interests (individual freedom, economic freedom, nationalism, sanctity of life, torture, and war) and evoke very basic human responses such as fear, anxiety, anger, disgust, and etc.
2. Dr. Paul’s views on national defense, monetary policy, isolationism, and constitutionalism are considered by most to be outside of the mainstream of rational political, social, and governmental philosophy.
3. Dr. Paul has consistently repeated his messages over 30 years and as noted above, tends to target younger followers who are easier to indoctrinate.
The fourth rule is to proselytize not only your “enlightened philosophy or beliefs, but also to spread forth the word that while you and your followers are “the enlightened or chosen ones”, there will be naysayers and those that will persecute you and the movement. This clearly shows the elements of paranoia and persecution by the non-believers.
1. Dr. Paul and his followers are very defensive when challenged on the issues and their beliefs. Instead of engaging in earnest discourse, they tend to attack and accuse the “non-believer” as persecuting them for their beliefs or of being ignorant and unenlightened in their philosophy.
2. Dr. Paul and his followers display a common paranoia and decry a “conspiracy” of the right, the political elite, and the left against them and their “lofty ideas that will save America”.
3. Dr. Paul has consistently offered the explanation that others are simply “out to get him” by taking “tongue-in-cheek comments out of context” and things that were written in his newsletters (but purportedly not authorized or written by him).
4. Dr. Paul comes off as defensive and angry when challenged in interviews and becomes condescending.
The fifth and last rule is to convince your followers that it is only through blind faith and rigid adherence to your philosophy—no matter how foreign it may be to self or to society—that that blind adherence or “loyalty” is the only path to salvation, redemption, or the reparation of the “perceived” ills of society. This is more antisocial ego-building and the tightening of control over the flock.
1. Dr. Paul and his followers play the same monotonous drum beat about “smaller government”, defense of our borders, monetary reform and fiscal responsibility, “stop the wars”, and national isolationism over and over again like a Gregorian chant and mantra in a blind and stubborn adherence to their fringe philosophy that is the only path to saving America despite practical, rational, philosophical, and real world evidence against and “common sense” opposition to their “zany” ideas, Messianic messages, and Utopian philosophies .
Some authors would add another step which is to construct a “doomsday scenario” for your followers, such as “the end of the world, World War III, or economic collapse as the great incentive to motivate the followers to adhere to and spread your teachings. This, again, would show delusional thinking as well as narcissistic thinking, especially if the leader and his or her followers will be the only ones saved from the impending calamity.
By the way, I too am a Vietnam Era Vet (Army)and also served as an officer in the medical corps for the National Guard during Desert Storm and there is no way in hell I would ever support Dr. Paul to be my Commander-in Chief!

Christmas Eve 2011- The Weekend Claw

The Crawfish and his family wish all of my readers a very Merry Christmas or Happy Hanukkah, with this reminder. Nativity scenes and Menorahs are completely welcome on all state and local government lands according to the Constitution. It is just liberal activist judges who don’t understand that state and local governments are NOT Congress and are not making federal laws by putting up such scenes. Those judges have never actually read the “establishment clause” or the 10th Amendment.

For those who are questioning why The Crawfish didn’t wish a happy kwanza, it is because kwanza is a “holiday” that was made up by a black separatist for the expressed purpose of getting American blacks to stop celebrating the white man’s religion and its holiday.

A) The Psychotic Midget with the Funky Hair and High Heels is dead. His youngest son, Kim Jong-Un is the designated successor, but he is only in his mid to late 20s (most guesses are 27) and has only been being groomed for the job for about a year. He isn’t ready for the job, so the current speculation is that his uncle will be the behind-the-scenes leader, making most of the real decisions, for a few years. Kim Jong-Un has already hacked off many of his military commanders, as he was promoted to 4-star general this past year, even though he has never served in the military. Could this be the first break between the Kim family and the military, and could it eventually lead to a coup?

B) In response to the death of the NorK dictator, the now 2nd worst President in American history sent an interesting message according to the Korean Central News Agency: “In the message Jimmy Carter extended condolences to Kim Jong Un and the Korean people over the demise of leader Kim Jong Il. He wished Kim Jong Un every success as he assumes his new responsibility of leadership, looking forward to another visit to [North Korea] in the future.” Yes, he wished EVERY SUCCESS to the new dictator. James Earl Carter is more of an anti-American embarrassment to the United States Naval Academy than John Sidney McCain III.

C) Here’s something interesting. The newest speculation is that Condoleeza Rice is positioning herself as a possible VP nominee no matter who wins the GOP Presidential nomination. That would immediately nullify the Democrats’ race card. If that were to be combined with John Bolton as SecState, the next Administration would be top notch in foreign policy.

D) While we’re considering foreign policy, any Republican (with the exception of Ron Paul) would be smart enough to NOT make this quote: “Look, the Taliban per se is not our enemy. That’s critical.” That came from our esteemed Vice President, Joe Biden. Joe, just like the rest of this Administration, does not believe that any Islamic terrorist group can be an enemy of the United States. In fact, they do not believe that there is such a thing as Islamic terrorism. They just believe in terrorism committed by individual “extremists”, mostly American veterans, Christians, conservatives, and heterosexuals. In fact, it is now the OFFICIAL position of the Obama Administration and the Useless Nations that criticism of Islam and Islamic terrorism should itself be a crime. Is there any doubt which side of this war, which Islam declared on the rest of the world over 1300 years ago, this Administration is on?

E) King Barry and Dingy Harry were screaming about how the GOP was refusing to vote on their “Kick the Can Down the Road, Because This is ALL About Politics” Bill, but ABC News is reporting that the two-month extension in the payroll taxes is impossible to properly implement for businesses. Even with this ammunition in their magazine, John Boehner and the House leadership caved in to the demands of Obama, just like they did on the debt deal and the other deals this year. Boehner is a complete joke of a “leader”. He talks a good game, but when the chips are down he grabs his ankles.

F) Dingy Harry Reid even chastised Boehner and the GOP freshmen with this statement: “I hope this Congress has had a very good learning experience, especially those who are newer to this body. It seems that everything we’ve done this past year has been a knock-down, drag-out fight. There is no reason to do that.” In other words: “Do NOT fight against the Democrats or we will beat you down in the press and make your leadership collapse again. If you stand for the Constitution, you will be vilified as an extremist who hates the American leeches….er, people.” There would be no drag-out fights if the Democrats would simply abide by the Constitution.

G) Bob Dole endorsed Mittens last week. Wait, Bob Dole is alive? Who knew and who cared? It looks like the GOP establishment is grasping at straws to do everything they can to prevent any actual conservatives from getting the nomination.

H) In related news, here’s a big shocker for ya. George H. W. Bush has endorsed Mitt Romney for the GOP nomination. Imagine that. A northeast yankee (the Bush family is from Maine, not Texas) Ivy League liberal blueblood country club elitist establishment Republican endorses a northeast yankee Ivy League liberal blueblood country club elitist establishment Republican. Did you really expect him to endorse a conservative?

I) Eric Holder has been under fire for his role in the Gunrunner/Fast and Furious scandal, his refusal to prosecute Black Panthers for voter intimidation that was caught on video, and for saying that his Injustice Department would not prosecute blacks in civil rights cases. In the face of this criticism, and his history dating back to the Clinton Administration, he has only one defense. His critics, and those of Barack Obama are raaaaacists! That use of the race card is nothing new for Holder and his Massah. It was used every single time something negative was said regarding Barack Obama during the 2008 campaign and the whole of 2009. Since we are entering yet another Presidential campaign (well, Obama’s campaign for 2012 started in December of 2008), we can expect to see it time and again over the next 11 months ( like this one) since the Democrats have no other defense for the actions of Obama and Holder. Representative Allen West has had enough of the Democrat Race Card and is calling them out on it.

J) The Washington Examiner posts a story about the double standard that Ron Paul and his supporters put forth, and of course the Paulbots go nuts in the comments section. Too bad they cannot factually refute a single bit of the story.

K) Check this out. Ron Paul now says that Bradley Manning, an American traitor and homosexual scumbag, should be seen as a “political hero” and a “true patriot” for his actions in giving military secrets to Wikileaks. Yes, giving out military secrets during a time of war is heroic and patriotic, according to the most anti-American military candidate in the history of the Republican Party.

L) Ron Paul has been busy disavowing much of the content of his old newsletters, but according to his spokesperson anything written regarding those newsletters that includes his signature is endorsed by Paul. So when he sent out solicitation letters with his signature, and those note coming race wars, federal cover-ups of homosexuality, and claims that the reason for changing the colors of our currency was so the government could track people with the new money, that means those are his official positions. Gawd, is that man ever screwed up. By the way, The Crawfish doesn’t believe any of his denials of the content of his newsletters. All of that vile anti-semetic and racist content was approved by him before publication.

M) Y’all remember Cynthia McKinney, right? She is the anti-American former Congresscritter from Jawja who was so far to the left that Barack Obama looks conservative in comparison. She supported Hamas, even helping Hamas attempt to break through Israeli blockades to give aid to Hamas in Gaza while still serving in Congress. She was the Presidential candidate for the Green Party a few years ago, supporting lifelong welfare at a “living wage” for anybody who was too lazy to get a job, even if they were completely mentally and physically able to work. Of course, McKinney’s definition of mental competency is highly questionable. She was eventually replaced in Congress by a guy who is such an idiot as to believe that if the US stations more Marines on Guam it might cause the island to tip over and sink. So where am I going with this? RON PAUL ENDORSED MCKINNEY back in 2008!

N) The Crawfish has found a good place for Congress to show that they are serious about spending reduction. Although it would be mostly paid for by the slaves…er, PEOPLE of California, the California high speed rail project has already tripled in cost before a single shovel has hit the dirt. In 2008, the state’s government promised that the project would cost $33 billion. The projection is already up to $99 billion, and we all know that once the unions get involved the cost will at least double again and the timetable will be extended by 50%. Of course, the Obama Administration wants the project to proceed.

O) That’s just the tip of the iceberg, as we all know. Senator Coburn of Oklahoma has released his “Wastebook 2011” with a ton of ways the government has thrown our hard-earned tax dollars into the rubbish bin. Will somebody explain why we are spending millions to help mango production in Pakistan?

P) Here’s more spending that needs to be chopped. If this story does not piss you off, you must be an Obama supporter. Send the damned bill for this to the First Grifter!

Q) Normally I am supportive of soccer referees, since I used to be one. In this story, however, the referee completely blew it. The goalkeeper should have kicked that drunken attacker into unconsciousness.

R) Here is your Laughable Statement of the Year Award winner for 2011: “I would put our legislative and foreign policy accomplishments in our first two years against any president — with the possible exceptions of Johnson, F.D.R., and Lincoln — just in terms of what we’ve gotten done in modern history.” Yes, Barack Obama thinks he is the 4th greatest President in history, and ranks the 3rd worst (LBJ) as one of the 3 ahead of him. Sorry Your Majesty, but the three WORST Presidents in our nation’s history are YOU, James Earl Carter, and Lyndon Baines Johnson.
